While summer winds down, the team at Campaignium is still working hard to get results for our clients. We’ve also been busy showing our summer interns around and working together to make all kinds of digital marketing magic. Interns have a way of bringing more energy and fresh, new ideas to our office and we are proud to show them off!

Madeline Hanley, Graphic Design Intern

Madeline is a senior at Missouri State University, double majoring in Graphic Design and Illustration. Through her involvement with Students in Design on campus, she has had the opportunity to grow her design skills and interest in the field.

Though she loves exploring many different facets of design, she particularly enjoys working on projects that involve an illustrative style. “Illustration really stands out and personalizes your brand,” she notes.

Madeline has welcomed the shift from school work to client work with open arms. “In school, you’re doing design work mostly for yourself,” she says. “Working with a client is about wanting them to do well, helping them to accomplish their goals.”

When she isn’t designing, she spends time caring for her 22 houseplants, working at Bambinos, painting, and visiting nearby Kingdom Coffee and Coffee Ethic.

Uxoa Bertiz, Web Development Intern

Uxoa is a senior at Drury University, majoring in Software Engineering with minors in Math and Business Administration. When she isn’t studying, she can be found on the pitch playing for the Drury Women’s Soccer team.

She has previously worked in her classes to create websites, but is excited by learning new skills she can utilize in her career. Uxoa’s favorite part of web development is coding, a passion that led to her choice of major.

During her internship, Uxoa has worked together with the Web Development team to produce digital content for a variety of clients. As a part of this team, she feels that she better appreciates the value of teamwork. “When we get to work together, things go better and faster,” she says. “Teamwork is essential.”

She calls herself a “total outdoor person” and loves spending time outside playing sports, hiking, canoeing, and being with her friends.

Monica Wise, Digital Optimization Intern

Monica is a senior at Missouri State University, majoring in Public Relations with minors in Ethical Leadership and Marketing. She keeps busy on campus, with involvement in Sigma Sigma Sigma, the Catholic Center and Missouri State’s leadership programs.

She finds her passion in getting hands-on experience in her field and loves getting to work directly with clients. For one of her classes, she was able to put together a marketing plan and a social media proposal for a local nonprofit, an experience which reinforced her desire to work in public relations.

Her favorite part of her internship has been the collaborative nature of Campaignium. “When I was thinking about internships, I was expecting everyone to be in cubicles and quiet,” she says, “but everyone here is constantly working together.”

During her free time, she enjoys hiking, nature and travel photography and spending time outdoors.

Campaignium also offers internship opportunities in the fall and spring to students who are interested in digital marketing. Learn more about the internship program and submit your application.
