As the weather gets warmer and summertime approaches, we are happy to welcome another new member to our growing team of digital marketing experts here at Campaignium.
Content Marketing Specialist Sarah Smith comes to Campaignium with an extensive background on both the professional and academic sides of the industry. Sarah will draw on her experience as a writer and researcher to provide original content that connects with target audiences and improves visibility on search engines, social media, and more.
“This is an exciting time to join Campaignium, as we continue to grow and provide the very best in digital marketing services,” Sarah tells us. “I look forward to working closely with our team and our clients to develop compelling content that resonates with consumers in today’s digital media environment.”
For eight years, Sarah was an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Missouri State University, where she taught courses in Advertising and e-Marketing. Two years ago, Sarah launched a freelance writing service in which she provided clients with original content, proofreading, and research.
Sarah has published research articles in peer-reviewed journals and has compiled reports to help clients make optimal business decisions. In 2014, she co-authored the 2014 Springfield Nonprofit Impact Study, a project led by Dan Prater, director of the Center for Nonprofit Communication at Drury University.
A self-described “SEC Girl,” Sarah earned her PhD in Mass Communication from the University of Georgia, along with degrees in Advertising and Telecommunication from the University of Alabama.
Outside of work, Sarah has a passion for music and has performed off and on as a singer-songwriter for many years. In 2012 she recorded an album of 10 original songs and has appeared at Springfield-area events including Artsfest and Cider Days.
Sarah’s skills and experience make her a strong addition to the Campaignium team. Her content marketing talent enhances our ability to develop effective campaigns for all of our clients.
